Finance Assistant Duties include:
- Fees ledger cashbook preparation, including bank downloads, identifying and posting cash to debtors ledger.
- Allocating unidentified receipts when requested by the credit control team and cashier.
- Saving remittances into the system
- Daily cashbook reconciliations.
- Raising ad-hoc sales invoices and credit notes.
- Assistance in the maintenance of client database.
- Assist with purchase ledger team during busy period including processing of expenses and invoices.
- General finance duties as and when required.
SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES
• A strong customer service focus and the ability to build effective working relationships within the finance team, other employees, partners and external stakeholders.
• To be able to work to instructions effectively, in a team environment and to process deadlines.
• High attention to detail and, logical, and orderly in approach.
• Sound working knowledge of MS Windows-based software packages, including word processing, excel spreadsheets, databases, electronic mail, and the internet.
Our minimum requirements:
- BBB (or equivalent UCAS points) from three A Levels (or equivalent).
- GCSE grade 4 (C) or above in Maths and English Language.
